Keeping RHA On the Clock, Around the Clock
Cincinnati Time Systems solved the Residential Housing Association's (RHA) unique time tracking problems with innovation and simplicity. RHA operates group homes for mentally retarded clients throughout Dayton, OH and the surrounding area. Many staff members work unusual shifts spanning 24 hours that include 16 work hours and 8 hours of sleep. The nature of these shifts call for employees to work schedules that are not set. This makes it more difficult to work with canned time tracking programs. RHA needed a more efficient and economical answer to tracking employee hours and Cincinnati Time Systems was able to provide them with a solution that could be configured to their needs.
The Residential Housing Association operates out of eleven locations and directly in client homes. RHA bills on a daily rate, much like nursing homes, and finding a system that could adapt to their billing needs was a priority when it became necessary to upgrade from timecards that had to be manually checked and compiled for every pay cycle. Rhonda Rich notes that, "After 18 years we have gone through 3 funding streams and 5 billing cycles and with Cincinnati Time Systems processing time is way down. Everything is just smoother."
After switching to a web based time system, RHA installed computers in all client homes to facilitate employee tracking and accuracy. Cincinnati Time Systems' products easily interface with RHA's payroll provider and have inspired RHA to take the next step toward the future of workforce management. "We still don't use everything that CTS has to offer. We hope to soon implement paperless leave requests and get completely away from manual forms," comments Rich. "Overall, we are really happy with their service. We're glad we did it."
Thanks to Rhonda Rich of the Residential Housing Association of Dayton, OH for taking the time to comment and report on the products and services of Cincinnati Time Systems. Your efforts have certainly helped us towards becoming a better company!
