Telecom Co. Upgrades Method of Time Collection
PowerNet Global’s search to simplify time tracking led them to a web-based solution from Cincinnati Time Systems. A tier two telecommunications company based in Cincinnati, PowerNet Global (PNG) services customers in 10 states with a workforce of hourly and salaried employees 300 strong. After years of problems and frustrating limitations with their PC based time clock, and hours wasted manually pulling punches and compiling time sheets, they knew they needed to make a change.
Cincinnati Time Systems dispatched a team to evaluate PNG’s time tracking needs and was able to provide a flexible customer built answer -- the NOVAtime 3000 Enterprise Edition.
Employees at PNG now have a real-time, web-based application accessible from anywhere that also displays up to date employment and personal information. Gone are the days of the payroll department being inundated with paid time off information requests because now employees literally have the information at their fingertips. The system also seamlessly integrates with PNG’s new payroll provider, saving even more time by cutting out another manual step. “The biggest benefit has been time savings,” says PNG payroll manager Jane Leopold. “We’ve been able to eliminate problems we didn’t even know could be eliminated because the system takes care of everything.” For PNG, efficiency, accuracy, and reliability really save time and money – especially with a workforce spread across the country and an array of time tracking policies.
Cincinnati Time Systems’ continues to provide quality service to assist PNG with their unique time tracking issues by solving problems quickly and efficiently. “They’ve been great about helping whenever we don’t understand something and need to get things done, or whenever we have a problem,” says Leopold. “From a customer service standpoint, it doesn’t get any better.”
